Individuals with smaller instruments are expected to take them home Friday.

2:50 p.m. Drop-off and Staging at Frost MS
Staging will take place at Frost Middle School (14041 Stark Rd) in Livonia. Participants may be dropped off at Frost Middle School, but please note there will be no parking available at the school. With this in mind, the parade committee strongly encourages carpooling the day of the parade and making plans for parking ahead of time. Parking will be available at Ford Field, Stymelski Park, the Senior Center, and at the Library. We recommend parking at the Senior Center or the Library (closer to the end of the parade route) and then walking to Frost Middle School, or having a friend/family member drop-off participants at the school. Please make sure to allow enough time for parking and walking over to the staging area.
3:00 p.m. Warm-up and Staging
4:00 p.m. Parade
5:00 p.m. Student Pick-up at 16th District Courthouse lot

At the conclusion of parade, turn in your Santa hat to Mrs. Wickman or Ms. Sato.

WINTER CONCERT – Wednesday, December 13, 2017 (7p)
The Stevenson Winter Band and Orchestra Concert is Wednesday, December 13 at 7 p.m. in the Stevenson Performing Arts Center. Tickets will be $5 at the door. Band and Orchestra members should be sure to check the concert dress requirements listed in the handbook received at the beginning of the year (a digital copy can be found on the music website - HANDBOOK). Check your concert dress now so you have time to get anything you may need before the concert!
We are looking for a few parent volunteers for the night of the concert to help organize students to take the stage, help backstage with set-up needs, and student check-in and out before and after the concert. If you can help, please visit the Sign-Up Genius link below.
Following the winter concert on December 13, we will have an afterglow in the auditorium lobby. If you can provide cookies, brownies, (items that do not need to be cut), etc., please visit the Sign-Up Genius link below to donate items. Food donations can be dropped off in the lobby from 6-6:30p.
In rehearsal Monday, we will be working on It’s the Holiday Season and Leave it to Beavis. Be sure to work out your individual parts before rehearsal so we can have a productive rehearsal. Recordings for several of the pieces can be found online and/or downloaded from iTunes.

Remember, if you are planning to purchase a new instrument and do not have the guidance of a private teacher; please e-mail me for brand/model suggestions. There are a lot of poorly made instruments that look shiny and pretty but end up being a waste of money! The instrument brands listed in the link are reputable instrument manufacturers.
