General Information
The Color Guard is the primary visual component of the Stevenson Marching Band. It is a great way to be involved in our program without playing an instrument. The color guard has its own coach and practices throughout the summer. No prior experience is necessary to join; only a good attitude and a willingness to work hard.
Color Guard members are expected to be at all required events on the Marching Band Calendar (see home page).
Summer Guard Clinics
Guard clinics will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesdays through the late spring and summer. Individuals will learn basic flag technique and movement basics. Be sure to wear comfortable clothes that let you stretch and move easily, and athletic shoes (no jeans, skirts, or flip-flops).
