Concert Attire
Our goal is a unified, professional appearance that honors the formality and reverence of our performances. The audience's focus should be entirely on the music, meaning our attire must be visually seamless and free of distractions.
Please adhere to the following guidelines:
Tops/Dresses: Tops must have a conservative neckline (such as a crew neck, boat neck, or high V-neck) and include sleeves. Low-cut or sleeveless garments are not permitted.
Bottoms/Skirts: Skirts and dresses must extend well below the knee when standing and sitting. Pants must be formal dress pants (no jeans or denim).
In short, please ensure all attire provides full coverage of the shoulders, torso, and knees so that our visual presentation matches the high standard of our musical performance.
WIND ENSEMBLE
Black suit, white shirt, black dress shoes, black socks, black bow tie.
OR
Black dress slacks or ankle-length black skirt, black shirt or blouse, and black dress shoes.
STRING ORCHESTRA
Black slacks, black dress shirt, black dress shoes, black socks. Black necktie optional
OR
Black slacks or an ankle-length skirt/dress, a black dress shirt or blouse, black socks/hose, and black dress shoes.
SYMPHONY BAND/CONCERT BAND
Black dress slacks, white dress shirt, long tie (black preferred), black dress shoes, and black socks.
OR
Black slacks or ankle-length skirt, white long-sleeved blouse, and black dress shoes.
